By adding weight directly to the exhaust tubing you are really doing nothing but changing the frequency of the harmonics to maybe move it out of . I also read a service bulletin that some chevy tahoe added weight as a factory fix for their v8 exhaust system with bad drone. It seems like there is enough questions about drone in aftermarket 3 . So its just a weight that bolts to the exhaust? You don't need a whole catback, just some mufflers that don't drone.
